HP-801 chelating agent

HF-801, a heavy metal stabilization agent for fly ash solidification, is an effective and environmentally friendly agent for fly ash stabilization. This product generates stable chelates for specific metal ions and removes them, featuring environmental friendly effects and economic benefits. It exhibits exceptional chelating capacity for heavy metals.

‌Mechanism of Action‌

The fly ash stabilizer captures and chelates various heavy metals in fly ash through artificially synthesized high-molecular chelating groups, and generates heavy metal chelates that are insoluble in water. The application of synthetic polymers significantly enhances chelation capacity, reaction rate, and contaminant removal efficiency, thereby overcoming the drawbacks of high residual levels and elevated operational costs.‌

Product Features:‌

  • ‌Adaptive Performance‌: Operates effectively across diverse urban temperature conditions and maintains reactivity within a broad pH range.
  • ‌Efficient Chelation‌:Rapidly forms stable chelates with varied heavy metal ions in fly ash, achieving high removal rates with short reaction times.
  • ‌Cost & Safety Advantages‌: Low treatment costs, simple operation, and non-toxic/environmentally compatible formulation.
  • ‌Broad Applicability‌: Compatible with fly ash of varying heavy metal concentrations.
  • ‌Cement Reduction‌: Enables cement-free applications or minimal cement dosage.

Scope of Application‌

Since its development and implementation, our fly ash stabilization agent has evolved into a mature product. Due to its operational simplicity, superior treatment efficacy, and cost-effectiveness, it has been widely adopted for heavy metal immobilization in incineration fly ash. The product has been widely applied in the stabilization of heavy metals in incineration fly ash and is suitable for the solidification of fly ash from different waste-to-energy plants and waste incineration plants.

Package and Storage

  • The fly ash stabilization agent is a ‌liquid‌, supplied in ‌25kg drums‌ and totes‌.
  • It ‌must be stored‌ in a ‌cool, ventilated‌ warehouse. ‌Keep away from‌ open flames and heat sources. ‌It should be stored separately from‌ acids and strong oxidizing agents. When ‌stored under the specified conditions‌, it has a ‌shelf life of one year‌.

Other Precautions:‌

  • ‌The agent is typically diluted with water before use; however, it is strictly prohibited to dilute it with water containing heavy metals.‌
  • ‌The on-site dosage shallbe adjusted based on the heavy metal content of fly ash and laboratory trial tests.‌
  • ‌Due to significant variations in waste incineration methods across different regions, the types of heavy metals and other components present also differ. We will provide a comprehensive solution for fly ash heavy metal treatment, guidance on agent usage, and technical support tailored to the specific characteristics of the fly ash.
