HP-420 scale and corrosion inhibitor (Medium and low hardness water)
HP-420 scale and corrosion inhibitor is mainly used in open circulating cooling water systems and can be applied to circulating cooling water systems in industries such as petrochemical, chemical, power, and steel. It is suitable for operation under harsh conditions of medium to low alkalinity and medium to low hardness.
Product Property
With phosphocarboxylic acid as the main scale inhibitor, HP-420 chelates divalent metal scale-forming ions and prevents scaling through complexation and solubilization effects. Another component is the polymer dispersant, which not only disperses various organic and inorganic dirt under harsh conditions, but also help maintain the activity of organophosphorus and zinc, so as to prevent the deposition.
It is suitable for circulating water with calcium hardness and total alkalinity ranging from 50 to 200mg/ L. It needs to be used in combination with corrosion inhibitor HP-7110 and copper corrosion inhibitor HP-401C.

Usage: As a liquid product, HP-420 should be continuously added by a metering pump. In compliance with the characteristics of the water quality and the features of equipment, it is recommended that the dosage concentration of HP-420 be 50-70mg/L. In order to adapt to the changes in the concentration ratio, the total phosphorus should be controlled at 3-6mg/L by adjusting the concentration of dosing.
Package: 25kg/plastic drum, 1000kg/IBC
